    CNC Machining in Smithfield

Our machine shop is at Unit 33, 317-321 Woodpark Road, Smithfield. If your factory is in the Smithfield or Woodpark industrial area you are minutes away, which changes how a machining job runs: you can hand over a sample part, stand at the machine while we discuss a fit, and collect finished work without freight.

The Smithfield industrial area and the work it sends us

Smithfield sits between Woodpark Road, Cowpasture Road and the Yennora rail freight terminal, and the streets around us are dense with plastics moulders, steel merchants, packaging plants, food processors, transport workshops and contract assemblers. That mix produces a very particular kind of machining demand, and it is rarely a long production run.

Most of what comes to us from a few streets away is maintenance and reliability work: a worn drive shaft that has to be reverse engineered from the broken one, gearbox spacers, conveyor rollers and end caps, guide rails, bearing housings, sprocket hubs, and dies or knives for packaging and extrusion lines. The part is usually holding up a production line, so the clock matters more than the batch size.

The second stream is local product manufacturers who need components made properly rather than urgently: machined housings, manifolds, mounting plates and fixtures in mild steel, stainless, aluminium and engineering plastics, held within 0.01 mm on the features that matter.

Because we are inside the same industrial pocket, we can usually take a physical sample in the morning, model it, and have a proving part in your hands rather than emailing photographs back and forth. Bring the broken component in and we will quote from it.

    Frequently asked questions

Where exactly in Smithfield are you?

Unit 33, 317-321 Woodpark Road, Smithfield NSW 2164, in the industrial estate between Woodpark Road and Cowpasture Road.

Can I bring a broken part in instead of a drawing?

Yes. Most local jobs arrive as a worn or broken component. We measure it, model it and machine a replacement, so no drawing is needed.

Do you take urgent breakdown work from local factories?

Yes. Short-run breakdown machining is a large part of what we do for neighbouring plants. Call (02) 9436 2820 and we will tell you honestly what the machine load allows.

    Is there a minimum order?

No. We machine one-off parts as well as repeat production batches.
