Can you make a stainless steel bench to my size?
Yes. Every bench is made to the size you need in 304 or 316 stainless, from sheet between 1.2 mm and 3 mm thick.
McIver Engineering makes stainless steel benches to your size at our Smithfield workshop in Western Sydney. We build them in 304 or 316 stainless from sheet between 1.2 mm and 3 mm thick, with a brushed or 2B finish.
We have made custom benches for all sorts of industries, from work benches to benches that move items across a warehouse. Tell us the size, the load and what the bench is for, and we will design it around that. A sketch or a photo is enough to get started.
Each bench can have a splashback, an undershelf, drawers, sink cut outs, castors or wall mounting. You choose the combination and we build it into the one bench.
We can make food grade benches for kitchens and food businesses. Tell us how the bench will be used when you ask for a quote.
The sheet is laser cut and welded at our Smithfield workshop. Some folding is done in house on our own press brake, which handles sheet up to 2 mm thick and up to 1.5 m long. Where a bench needs a longer or heavier fold, that step goes to a press brake subcontractor we have used for years, and we manage it for you.
A single bench usually takes about two weeks. A batch of five usually takes three to five weeks. Delivery is quoted with each job. We supply the benches and installation is by others.
